Welcome to Catamaran Dolphin Cruises & Tours
PASSION • EXCELLENCE • PURPOSE
Many a guest has rated our morning Ultimate Marine Cruise as the highlight of their visit on the Namib Coast, and in the whole of Namibia for that matter – this is not difficult to believe as we have an absolute passion to take you out on a marine safari to see as many wildlife sightings as possible, and make your experience unforgettable! Our tours are based in Walvis Bay and its surroundings, and on the 3-hour and some 2-hour cruises, you may visit the splendid Cape Fur Seal colony of Pelican Point Peninsula.
We often make a turn in the open ocean, and at times may visit the Longbeach / Langstrand area where the desert meets the ocean near Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
Our sunset cruises boast some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world! The return with marine vessels lighting up together with the town is nothing less than breathtaking.
Included on each cruise or tour you are treated with beverages and canapes or a snack, which vary depending on which tour you book: there are beverage varieties, sparkling wine paired with fresh Namibian oysters, a canape variety including dessert, or even a traditional Namibian braai/barbeque onboard the catamaran (please see different cruise types in order to see what is included).

Where We Are
Conservation Responsibilities
Our oceans are overwhelmed with plastic and rubbish, much of which ends up polluting the natural beauty of our marine environments and threatening wildlife. Every year, an estimated 33 billion pounds of plastic waste enters the seas, contributing to a staggering 75 to 199 million tonnes of plastic currently floating or submerged in our oceans worldwide. This pollution not only mars the pristine ocean landscape but also poses severe risks to marine animals, with over 100 million marine creatures dying annually due to plastic waste entanglement or ingestion. Even if we did not personally contribute to this rubbish, it is our shared responsibility to clean up the environment around us and protect these vital ecosystems.
The photos shown here capture the rubbish we collected from the ocean during our most recent cleanup cruise..
We encourage everyone visiting this page to take a moment and reflect: Why not pick up litter you see around you? Your small actions can collectively make a significant difference. This site aims to inspire and challenge our community to engage actively in ocean conservation. By understanding the profound impacts of plastic pollution — from wildlife harm to the degradation of marine habitats — we can foster a sense of stewardship that drives positive environmental change. Together, through awareness, responsibility, and action, we can help keep our oceans clean and allow nature’s supreme beauty to flourish, free from the clutter of human-made trash.
Let this message be a call to everyone: join us in making a difference. Whether it’s picking up rubbish on a beach or advocating for better waste management, every effort counts. Our ocean, wildlife, and future depend on collective care and commitment. Together, we can cleanse the ocean of plastic and restore its health and splendour for generations to come.
